In regards to oil coolers... what is the size of the fittings on the stock cooler? I don't have the hardlines and need pushlock style hoses

I was about to say you could buy a new one (ideal) or ziptie the lever in the up position (full open). Only thing that it did for me was take a bit longer for the car to warm up, but there were no other ill consequences in that action. I ran it like that for about 6 months with no problems...

That R154 swap price list is crazy. I got all of my parts for less than 1/3 of that price. I was able to source everything locally, and got a helluva deal on the transmission. Just gotta look around, people will help you out. :)

I like a place called Weiner Circle in Chicago. The food is good, but the way the staff interacts with the customers (rude as hell, especially with drunks) is some of the funniest stuff I've heard. It's an experience :)

Only thing I can think that can cause a cam to snap are: weakness in the cam at point of breakage, warped cam, cam knocking on part of the head (associated with warpage).

Or just take the belt off haha
