Ive shot many a xd-9.
Ive never had a problem with them except when it comes to cheap hollowpoint ammo.
Run some Hornaday TAP and you should be fine.
They are a great gun IMO, and even though the trigger has been compared to a Block (replace the b with a g), it shoots quite nice right...
I would hope it wouldn't be more than a month.
To machine the housing is around $40. Backplate is about the same.
It really just depends on how much machining has to be done.
The general rule of thumb is either completely heat treated or not at all.
In the sprint cars and midgets (you know the ones you see flipping out of the ball park) that Ive built we ALWAYS USE GROUP N tubing due to the fact it has a greater "stretch" ability over heat treated 4130.
BINGO! Even if the repair was on group N 4130, the car should have been scrapped or taken apart, x rayed, then repaired or scrapped.
Blows my mind that you're going to trust some guy to lay a bead on some thing going 330mph.....
Right now you're looking at longer than two weeks if the bearing housing is fubar. It would have to go and get machined.
If it has major amounts of shaft play, the front seat plate will need to be machined, and that takes around 2 weeks or so....
After all said and done providing the...
If its a ball bearing unit, go back to ITS. I could rebuild it, but you're going to be waiting some time for machine work and balancing.
Also, these units come out of balance when the wheels start gathering oil/carbon deposits or damage.
The p95 isn't a bad piece, but remember to keep it clean and if you're using it as a CCW, make sure you hit the range at least once every 2 months or so.

I wouldn't doubt that they have. Borg warner has always been known for OEM stuff but since they were bought out by Garrett they have been improving....
^^^Righttt....................
It appears to me some one took some time and whipped out the pollishing wheel on a dremel and smoothed the GT35R comp wheel myself....
Its a long read.
If you really want to understand how motorsports turn corrupt against safety for the sake of going fast and making money...
