heh you are more than an hour or so south of me. it would take me about 8 or so hours if not more to make it to the border. maby once i get set up again with a place to work and my tools i might look into attempting to save it. theres a sr5 corolla i wouldnt mind tinkering with out there...

yea all the mk3's in alberta go for crazy prices. i sold my old one for only 3k. its hard to find a nice one. hell, i had to get my new supra from another country... i mean... uhh... :hsugh: but yea... get it lol

heh pick it up then and bring it back to running shape. the rear bumper kinda looks like poop but id like to see what it would look like if it was all back together with nice wheels etc. at least those may look better than mustang tail lights... :hsugh:

what ive read most people do is strip them with aircraft paint stripper, then maby just wet sand them with a high grit sand paper then polish them up with metal polish. i cant say for sure as i dont know how smooth the finish is underneath all the paint. id almost suggest trying to get...

i didn't see any blue smoke at all dustin, even when you left to go down south on sunday. but if it really is 1 liter every 3k kilometers that don't sound to right to me... if it were the neon i'd say it was fine... lol

they probably wont be super shiney if you strip em, but im sure you can polish them up afterwards... almost go with painting them even if its back to OEM grey. i never was a huge fan of polished sawblades. black / gunmetal can look good tho. :icon_bigg
