Yeah i was planning on it just need to have it verified whether or not I should because I heard it wont be an accurate re torque without first breaking the bolt loose.
Ive been looking around for information but havent found a solid answer. Im going to retorque my headbolts and here are my main concerns.
Do i loosen the headbolts slightly befor retorqueing?
Im going to let my car sit in around 60 degree weather with the hood open for 4 hours then hit it...
yeah, i tried putting in projectors out of a 98 integra i believe, my brother cracked his front lights when he got in a fender bender so they were free. idk just wasnt much room, they fit but without alot of work they are gonna look tacky. I wasnt ready to dive into extensive fiberglass work so...
hey dick i got that steering wheel! :biglaugh: better than my trashed original leather one. I kinda like the lighter wood color though I need to switch mine back out
and id just like to say.. you picked the steering wheel to rag on over the white leather floor haha that car is a trainwreck
Thanks /\ and your correct I actually looked it up for a while longer and found that out. I just put some primer over it then some paint and although it doesnt match its under my weatherstripping so it shouldnt be an issue lol.
I would advise anyone replacing the weatherstripping to check...
Am in the process of replacing my weatherstripping and the front windshield one when removed showed signs of rust. After messing with getting the rusted screws out I found there was only 2 small rust spots so I grinded them down to bare metal and applied a self etching primer.
My question is...
I specifically need the front lCA bushings, mine are beyond fucked. I figured Id replace them all so where do I get a good bushing set? Im not looking for racing bushings but I want it to be more durable and slightly stiffer than the stock.
Found a kit on ebay out of polyurethane made by...
take out the back seats and make a custom sub box then you wont have to match the interior! The back seats look kinda worn on the tops anyway (thats a good excuse to buy subs).
Oh yeah but your trying to save weight....
well of course the window wont want to move very easy they dont want to make it even easier than it already is for crooks lol, and that nail idea is pretty creative
smash the window... lol or you can try taking a wedge type deal (wide and non marring with perferably a nice gradual slope) and wedge the door frame open a hair or just enough to slide a coat hanger in. Do at your own risk, ive done it several times.
And its not like posting how to break into...
yeah i decided not to, just going to take out the seats and put a fiberglass sub box in. Maybe one day if I find a shadow grey bottom for my back seat ill be able to swap it in if i decide i need seating for midget babies.
