I've only had a ride in one 240 w/ a SR20 w/ a pretty decent sized turbo. It felt like a MKIII w/ bolt on's seriously. It may not be typical but from my personal exp it's not even worth your time debating it with them.
Aren't they NA 4 bangers? 7MGTE w/ bolt on's would slaughter a 240...
If you do your car right you shouldn't have problems... most people just don't do it right plain and simple.
I'm just pondering how difficult and expensive it would be assuming you do 95% of the work yourself ( even if that means learning how to do it ). That, or has anyone refurbished a garage in need of MAJOR TLC? I'm talking new pavement, new shingles, new windows, new wood... pretty much everything...
Also check when your hatch is open. Mine has 2 VIN Stickers one per side. If whoever took them off got clumsy you might be able to figure out where it came from.

Man, I pulled all the stuff from my engine + front end on my purple car.... and I'm going to have to disagree with you. There is plenty of stuff it the front to get rid of or put in the rear. If your that into balancing there is PLENTY in the front to get rid of.
If your hatch is rusting or your building a show car, it couldn't hurt to have CF as an option. That and every few lbs adds up. I'd much rather shave a few pounds off my body first before getting rid of comfort personally. The question is, why wouldn't we want a cf hatch available? Would it be...
