really? i have owned both targa (old car) and a hard top (current car) and i would never trade my hard top!
i never took my targa off the old car except for the odd time i was with my ex GF.
now its hard top all the way for me unless its a project car on the side or a DD! :icon_bigg
wisdom and experience like this is why i will hopefully be doing buisness with driftmotion sometime over the winter!

lol the lack of a stock tank could be a problem, albeit a minor one.
maby go searching through some local scrap yards for a mk3. if that fails you can always go the fuel cell route. I cant help ya too much when it comes to the fuel cell and mounting as i have never seen the need to go that...
you may not need to, several people like upgradedsupra welded in a sump onto the stock tank to use a bigger fuel pump. I can't remember exactly what he was using, a1000 or something...
best option would be to swap an auto in my opinion, i may be more work and cash but in the end you should...
slow66 is going to use a powerglide 2 speed on his, several other members were using TH350's aswell.
im not an expert on swapping in a gm auto, but if you search / ask im sure someone more knowledgeable will be glad to help! :icon_bigg
well on that note,
it is the opinions of many here that wheels like what you posted earlier are not well suited for the kind of cars we drive. I for one probably acted a little hastily in picking up the flame thrower instead of helping you, my appologies.
