That looks like a Cressida engine bay. Cressidas used different style intake manifolds and did not utilize the ACIS system

What about using braided stainless or braided nylon lines with -AN fittings? Maybe more expensive, but they'll never blow off lol

You can get both aluminum and steel through Shaftmasters in Ohio. They only list steel for n/a 5spd, but if you want steel they can make one in steel for your application. Many people on the site have the shaft and, AFAIK, love them. Welcome to the Mania! Get some pics up of that car :D
