im going to try this. i have a hard start too. but no misfires. just takes bout 10-15 secs to start every morning. then 3-8 when its warm.

well i rewired just one of them and i didnt get the code anymore but about 2 weeks later i started to get the code again. but i think this was my wiring job. im not good at all with electrical. but it did stop my prob. for a little while and my car ran awesome. ---------- Post added at 02:35 PM...

i had a code 53. rewired the knock sensors and everything is great now. nomore code.

well idk bout you but i had autolites in my car and they fowled so easy and car ran like shit. misfires and shit. swapt to ngks and im fine now. so swap plugs. start with that.

ok update*** it wasnt the rivits but my buddy had a parts car i replaced dome lite and it works now. i think it was the wires inside the light. i drilled out the rivits and i got nothing. i put screws in them and still got no lite. but new dome light works so thanks anyway.

hehe. just put one in mine:) sometimes i smell wires lol but ive searched and searched and searched. had dash apart 3 times and no burnt wires:( but i smell them.

it worked 2 weeks ago and i changed the radio then it stopped working around that time. idk if it worked after i changed it or not. ive checked bulbs ive checked fuses. it dont work with the door open or with the switch. please help. always gotta have light:) hate flashlights lol
