i saw this car in person at the tx2k3 event and someone in the crowd appropriately named it "the shredder". the owner was very nice and upbeat but couldn't explain why he did this to his car. under the hood was very shiney with polished parts everywhere and colorful hoses iirc.
that wire you are thinking about has been reconnected. setting my timing is not the problem, it's trying to figure out why my car won't idle on its own.
today i was able to spray some carb cleaner around my intake manifold and upper plenum and the car did idle up dramatically within 2 seconds...
and he told me something about misspelling his name, i was told he liked to be called "fay" every now and then. :dunno:

just got done changing the cps, and the car started up, but, i can't check the timing since it won't idle on its own and i don't have anyone local to help me at the moment.
