    Bhg??????

You do need a thermostat to slow the water down while it is in the radiator so enough air can pass thru to cool what is in the radiator. That may be why it works on the highway. Do you still have the stock fan with the 14" one? There may be some trash in the rad fins or inbetween the rad...

    rodknock

I am sorry to hear that. Your car sounded and ran fine the other day when i saw it. That scares me since mine does have that cam rattle in it. I do hope mine last well forever. Maybe you hurt something when you were playing with that vette. Isnt that car your daily driver?

    Aftermarket Flywheel

I have the fidenza and it was a snug fit. I bought it over 2 years ago but just now installed it. I do believe it is flush as driving with the HPF bronze clutch with ACT pp is butter smooth so far with just 120 miles. I had the Fidenza and act pp fully balanced with all other moving...

Thanks for the info. Why are the torque numbers so close? Are the graphs similar up to a point the the SP pushes on past with the better flow?

    Engine almost ready to install

Well the engine is in and running! It has been 3 years almost since i drove my supra. I have been driving a buick or lumina since then. It feels so different to sit down into a low car. The steering is so much better than that front wheel drive crap. The engine did not crank the first...

    Horsepowerfreaks>>???

Any company can make a mistake by not hitting or hitting the wrong button. Never judge any company by one sale. HPF does a lot of business and i am sure mk3 supras are not a large percentage of sales there. I have ordered about $3200 in parts and realize that HPF can not have a couple...

    oil filter bracket bolts

The big one is 24mm. You can use a 1 inch socket too since one inch equals 245 milimeters so it would only be .5mm off. The smaller one is 22mm and you only need to remove it if you are replacing the spring. To remove the bracket just remove the 24mm big bolt. The small one at the top is...

My supra has been down for almost 3 years now. That is a long time to not be boosting. I have acquired parts over the years and will have a strong engine but still the stock 220,000 mile ct26. I will have to upgrade after the break in. I have painted some parts and hope the high temp paint...

cylinder head porting theories... and such

flubyux2 That ridge is created when the valve seats are pressed in. It is a small lump directly under the seat. You can feel it with your finger. Be careful inserting and removing any grinding bit in and out of the valve hole so as not to touch the seat. You can grind around this area and...

cylinder head porting theories... and such

Just removing the ridge under the valve seat will help out a lot. It is easy to do to. See the first pic where the seat on the right is done and the seat on the left is stock. The casting line on the sides of the ports is also smoothed away. See the second pic. It did not take much work to do...

cylinder head porting theories... and such

Thanks for that extra pic. Can you clean the intake out some please. It is difficult to see the directions the air would flow because the walls are difficult to define when they are black in the pics. I think the intake can be rounded out to flow smoother at the turns to the intake valve...

cylinder head porting theories... and such

Thanks so much for the sliced head pics. I was looking for a junk head before i ported my head to see what the wall thicknesses were. The walls are thicker than i assumed. Could we see a pic from the combustion chamber side please to give us a better point of reference on the head.

Best place to run wire/hose through firewall

You must always use a grommet and i cut one down below the brake booster area and clutch petal. After you get the wires threaded thru the grommet and all installed you can just put some black silicone in the hole to cap it off to keep moisture and noise out.
