Most of you are too young to remember the Smog Impact fee I guess.
As a student I lived in Pasadena CA for 3 years with a vehicle registered in B.C. Never got pulled over. There are many cars on the road here from out of state, and you won' get hassled unless you are attracting attention for...
Usually the ears bend when the cam bolts are seized in the bushings and someone trys to turn them. I would first check that the bolts can be removed before I spent effort on fixing the ears.
If they are seized there are plenty of threads here about how to rectify the nightmare.
Head studs give better tension uniformity than bolts, that is a fact. Whenever you dig into an engineering problem, there will be questions that cannot be fully answered and decisions that will be compromises. Just a fact of life.
Yeah, I've often thought that.
By the way stock head bolts tensile strength=160,550 PSI (measured by Reg Reimer years ago) and ARPs are 190,000 PSI, so as JJ says, very little difference to the point where it doesn't matter.
A good reason not to go too crazy on head bolt torque is that the head isn't that strong....

Yup, the only reason not to choose the above would be that you have a bunch of frequent flyer miles that you can transfer to a US partner airline, or if you happen to have elevated status on a particular US airline, which seems unlikely in this case.
Usually you flush the fluid after changing the pads. Be careful when you push the caliper pistons in that the fluid doesn't overflow in the master cylinder reservoir.
Would you happen to know if the Murano subwoofer fits in the stock MK3 temp spare ? Looks like you have a 17in spare in there now. The newer Murano sub with dual drivers is using a T165/90-D18 temp spare, which is quite a bit bigger than the MK3 spare. I went ahead and ordered an 06 Murano sub...
#04, this spare tire subwoofer is really interesting. How does it sound to you? Does it have a builtin amp? Do you have any further details on what mods you made to the Supra spare tire nut/mount hardware?
I don't think that list has the thermostat fasteners. I am pretty sure water elbow to head is item 16333 here http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/291420/catalog.aspx?F=1603&P=2
