Ok guys thanks for the info, haven't checked this thread in a couple of days, Gustav has been pretty rough down here.

My factory alarm goes off sometimes by itself, and once it went off and the horn constantly sounding, it did turn off when I turn the key in the driver door. What will happen if I unplug the alarm box under the dash?

Jay, what did you do to modify your fronts to fit? I ordered a set of rears to use on my fronts.

These tri shaped brackets, are they on the 88 style mirrors, I took my old ones off to look at the backs and they had some sort of triangular bracket on the back. Thanks...

Umm no I havent done the calculations, from what I've heard a single walbro can support up to 500 hp never thought about the other factors.... running a turbonetics 60 trim and 540's...

ok so if I want 89+ mirrors will they work or do I have to get the tri shaped brackets? and if so do they normally come with the mirror set?

Got a 1pc alum from shaftmasters with a r154 no fitment problems and no other issues..
