For the hassle just go with custom pistons from JE, CP, Wiseco, Arias, etc. HKS made a set of 85mm or 86mm pistons way back, but finding a set would be few and far between.
Jon, do you think a HX40 with a SP QSV would fit on a Treadstone manifold between the mani and shock tower/charcoal canister, and allow enough room for a 4" dp?
according to the pictures on Treadstone's website, that looks to be a Treadstone manifold. The 7M mani doesn't seem to have their logo on it.
The site also states that it uses a HKS 40mm or 50mm wastegate
Okay I officially need help. I have a perpetual oil leak that's coming from either the turbo oil feed or where the oil filter mount is. It leaks from both the stock filter mount and the Canton block adapter. I'm not sure what the hell it could be. Only things it can be are A) bad o-ring seal B)...
I think I'm going to remove the Canton piece and plumb the stock shit back in just so that I can drive the damn car. I'll block off the lines somehow so that the oil doesn't leak :/
I hate this leak. "Fixed" it and it actually got worse >.<
Just ordered a replacement o-ring kit for the Canton Racing block adapter, so hopefully new gaskets will fix the leak :/
You don't need use a threaded O2 sensor.... if your studs pulled out and you have two threaded holes, the screws that hold the wastegate actuator to the compressor housing on the stock CT26 will screw into those holes
Did the KS rewire. Changed the turbo oil drain gasket at the block. Still had an oil leak. Turned out to be the rubber O-ring on the Canton block adapter. Used a shit ton of RTV, hopefully that'll stop the leak. Also cleaned and polished the place that the o-ring would sit...
Mine exhaust is fairly quiet, even with a 3" ddp and 3" test pipe. The catback I have is a Sheepdog Prof Sport Exhaust, full 3", resonated. Straight exit. Very quiet. I need to get a decent video of it though.

Video of it running.
I have code 27: sub-heated O2 sensor. Is a Cali thing, I don't have the sensor for it anymore, nor do I have a stock exhaust. How do I jumper the plug to get that code to stop showing...
I like Boris' set up on his old blue car, the 17x9+15 17x10+25, but there's not enough meat on the tires for what turbo set I'm going for. If I want to run a little more rubber on something close to that, what offsets are recommended so that the wheels don't poke (and don't have to run...
I have one. Schley 64300. It's like 60-80 bucks on amazon. I'd offer to let ya borrow mine or use it, but I'm about 1.5-2 hours from madison
you're going to start on your car again? bs :p
a very slight angle looks good, but the only reason I'd do it is for the least restrictive flow. More bends = more restriction, no matter how minor that restriction is :)
