mine will prob be another month before i even have a prototype...weezl however has his for sale already in the approved group buy section. they are definitley a gorgeous piece. but im not sure if its what YOU are looking for as it doesnt allow the top to be put back on with it in place.

those are the three correct body harness connectors...you would need the three opposite ends off the 7m harness...and then THAT side(body side) off the jz clip to make the jumper harness.

its the very small rectangular one.... its prob the most important of the three lol.... theres three on the 7m harness for the body connectors...they are right below the 3 connectors for the ecu...

just match up the pins for what you want youll be fine ;) if you dont think you can handle it...myself and aaron can make your harnesses for you as you know. however if you want to tackle it yourself ill help if i can.

bob they match fine a lot of the options might not be there... IE: abs cruise tems auto tranny... for instance from the looks of if your car was/is an auto correct? thats the top thick wire that the jz clip doesnt have. you pretty much need to decide what you want on the car BEFORE you touch...

all good points except one... have you ever riden in a hardtop supra? compared to a targa supra WITH the targa ON there is so much of a difference still. this bar ON with the targa on helps increase the rigidity etc.... i think your bar is great...however as you yourself have stated it is...

ok im going to do up a prototype for a full bolt on out of the box CAI for you guys. with the option of either stopping at the stock filter location OR being true CAI and having it end at around behind the foglight. stay tuned... this will be the first of many parts provided....keep the ideas...

correct and i will be using his bar as a basis off an improved bar that will be more structurally sound, and more cosmetically and aesthetically appealing. the "problem with weezls bars are they have to come off to put the targa on...this bar does not... and this is IMO but an X brace will be...

i could prob do that but i would need both harnesses and wiring diagrams i think ill fab up a CAI from Y pipe to filter and it will have options to have it in stock location or true CAI and have a pipe down to behind the fog or something....

well the main problem im seeing is everyone is thinking of power adders...i kinda meant in ANY sense.... interior pieces? small things that would be nice to have? i dont know.... i dont think itb's would be a cost effective project because it would cost a lot to fab up and im pretty sure most...

they come from whoever is doing the swap.... they will be on your clip... you take the 1jz body harness connectors(car side) and the 7m body harness connectors(harness side) and cut them off and send them in...

no he is talking about a targa bar that NEVER comes off...so it increases strength and rigidity at ALL times...and you can install and remove the targa at will... something like this: im taking this design and modifying it a bit so the front and rear arch up to follow the roof line...so...

I will more then likely be producing a bar that is exactly like this. it will be form fit to the roof line and will be able to be left in with the targa ON. the headliner will stay in place the only mod to the actual car to use it is cutting two oval shapes in the front vinyl type headlinder...

FYI: if anyone in this thread talking about being afraid of the wiring wants it done for them.... ill do it for a decent price. im speaking of the jumper harnesses for the body. i can also make a jumper harness for the ea2 connector but its better to do that by removing the other clip as to keep...

bump for an answer on the check engine light wiring... i too have two grey with green stripe wires that connect together and a grey with red stripe in place where the grey with green stripe is on the diagram... anyone have insight?
