    722rwhp 1jzgte

"His car is on fire!!!" Had a laugh at hearing that.... those poor, poor spare tires. Of which I have a set of sitting in the garage. I know what we're going to be doing with them. :evil2:

    Strike Hold lubricant, looks impressive.

Just watched the videos, seems like some pretty serious stuff. Then again, I'd love to hear the wise ones' thoughts about it. Might have to pick some up and try it out on the garage door. She gets squeaky during the warmer months...

    Jury Duty

Thanks for bringing up the nullification thing guys (and gal), I was not aware of this. Not saying I'm looking forward to it, but next time the opportunity comes up, I wouldn't be disappointed to serve on a panel.

    Ive downgraded

Welcome back man. For what it's worth, the SC400 wasn't really designed to be a sports car. That, and they made 250hp/260tq in a day when GM was doing what, 275-300 with 1.7l more, and Ford was doing 20 less with a whole liter more? Wasn't too bad, just seems tame today. :) Also, getting a...

Getting out of the Supra game.

Hahaha, kinda what I was thinking, "now there's a name you don't see around here very often..." :) I'm in the same boat. My cars got newer and newer up until 2007, then they've progressively gotten older. Next toy will probably be a bit newer than the most recent acquisition (the Chevy), just a...

so... in light of one of my previous threads... I just wanted to say

I'm calling BS on those pics. Either that's a Power Wheel, big scale RC, or you guys have some MASSIVE grass and trees, and a clever photographer. :p

Help cure cancer for free, join the Supra’s Folding Team!

Anyone else notice that the PS3 application has been ended? Oddly enough, you can no longer use the Folding application through the PS3, but it is still on there. Kinda wondering if it is one of those things that will be removed at a later date through a firmware update, or if Stanford plans on...

    My birthday/christmas present

Happy (now) belated birthday sir... fuck I am just not very good with timing when it comes to this sort of thing. :p

    Toyota scion fr-s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know... I still haven't completely ruled on of these out yet. Between this, the FD, the NSX, Factory Five's Project 818 (or their GTM for that matter!), an MS Miata, Westfield... it's gonna be hard to make up my mind in a couple years. Whatever it ends up being, I don't want something that...

'05 Toyota Tacoma Blues (Beware, lengthy spell/grammar checked rant inside)

Dude, can't go wrong with a RWD Celica. I have a Mk2, love that car to death, quite similar to yours, except mine has the roof... and the 6m... and.. you know, I guess they're not all that similar at all haha. Still, the 22RE is a damned good motivator. Have any pictures of the car on here...

    Another new toy for me

Does nobody use Nissan engines in their Nissan anymore? Or have they ALL been used up by now?

    gearbox oil/coolant change interval ?

Can't go wrong following the owner's manual for maintenance schedule. Just be honest with yourself on driving conditions and habits. That said, with a good oil and filter, you can go a LOT longer than the manufacturer's recommendation. Not sure if the same applies to other fluids though. I'd...

    Supracharged Prerunner

Wise choice on the seat thing Mike, I hadn't even thought of that. In my defense, I try to keep off road excursions to a minimum considering my ground clearance wouldn't allow me to climb a small curb haha... Gonna leave that big tire open wheeled like that? Or is a fender fabrication in the...

Chambers Build Thread - "The RAV"

Now THAT would be a sweet sleeper! Kinda reminds me of a rally-raid "car" Toyota had in GT4. Pretty sure it was meant for Dakar style racing, but it was oddly badass.

    2jz-gte /r154 swapped conquest

Hmm, you might start by asking a mod to move the thread to the JZ section, should get better response there. I'm sure it is probably just a simple electrical gremlin.

Ivy Johnson, Supra legend, has passed away

Sorry to hear about this Mike. Didn't know him in any way, but it sounds like the world is a worse place without. :( Also in for stories when the time is right.

    Mkiv on Craigslist

Other than the paint, it isn't that bad, at least for the price, from what I can tell. Perhaps the Hulkamania is getting back in the game? :dunno:

I need quicker spool (1JZ) Ideas??

Maybe this will change your mind? 320rwhp at ~12psi. Stock intake, only mods were a 3" y-pipe and exhaust, the cams, and the porting. Even still had the silencer in the exhaust. And it was only run to ~6300 by the dyno operator for some reason. What do most 1j's lay down at 12psi? Around...

I want to make my 2jz on stock twins faster!

Can never go wrong with a good porting job. It may not give a whole lot of "extra" power, but you'll spool up sooner, and won't choke off on top quite as soon. Only downside is it can be an expensive mod, and you need to be choosy on who you have do it.

    Just wanted to say....

What is that, like a shovel full? Or a shovel deep? :p Suddenly the ~1' or so we got earlier in the month seems not so bad. Interesting to drive in when your car is only ~5" off the ground though... For what it's worth, even the worse Supras I've been in were better built than most newer cheap...
