So compare the teeth and alignment pin clocked at 0 vs the stock gears. My guess is they are dead on and you won't have any problems accurately advan/redtard from base timing.

Save time and run a die over it. I just went full flow, and I am glad I did. Pressures are higher and stable now. It is well worth it.

You can try turning off the fuel pump and cranking it a few times, loose the pressure through the injectors.
