ok. so it sounds like i'm better off just leaving it alone right now until i rebuild. is there anything i can do to get as much life as possible out of this stock HG besides just not driving it at all?

Well I have a Greddy 2mm headgasket that the previous owner gave to me with the car. I am saving that for the build Im saving up for. Im planning on doing a forged build. I just want to get all I can out of this stock setup before I have to rebuild. Thats why I was trying to just retorque right now.

Isn't stock torque specs like 55lbs? I was told to take it down to about 80lbs. How could this do more harm than good? Where can I find the TSRM?

What is a wire loom? Do I wire the 2 knocks together and then run a wire to the ecu or wire them separately to the ecu? How do I know where to plug the wire into the ecu? (if you cant tell, im just getting into the mechanical business) :1zhelp:

Update......... New issue I found. My knock sensors might be ok. Problem is, theyre not wired at all. Im assuming there is suppose to be a wire or something going from the sensors to the engine wiring harness but there is nothing. Theyre just screwed in the block with nothing attached. Can I...
