You didn't mention what engine you are using?
Master and Slave from any year
Driveshaft from any year, front piece only is OK
ECU - Auto ECU can be retained
Auto Rear is no problem
The tranny mount is on the R154 usually so that is fine
You need the shifter parts of course!
You need the...
The prices vary depending on what you want.
This one was $500 installed.
For 7M FFI the final pipe would be slightly different and so the "Kit" would not work exactly.
A couple days in, I'm loving the transmission. It's tight and acts like a new transmission.
This weekend I will flush out all the nasty fluid and add fresh fluid with an external cooler.
For the price I paid, I am very happy. Dean reminded me that the JZ tranny had a different spline...
Finally got a test drive in. It works really well so far. I don't have a good basis for comparison as I never had a bone stock setup. The previous 7mgte tranny was rebuilt and would shift really hard.
This OEM tranny shifts smooth and soft, as would be expected. It's silky smooth and...
We'll find out.
It does have typical kick down cable, mechanical just like ours. Given that this is from a JZA70, that makes me confident that it will work. Also due to the fact that it was reported as working properly in another car gives me confidence.
I did not see this topic on SM, so I thought I would start it.
Using the A342 (1JZ Auto) on 7mgte has been done, but it seems there is little info on it.
I installed the 1J auto on the 7mgte tonight and wanted to provide some reference for future searches. I am by no means an expert on...
They are oem injectors that are high flowed (bored out) or some other procedure to get more flow.
I'd suggest a simple set of US 550s on a 1J. That enough fuel for most of your needs.
Good luck. I'm glad to have more vendor brothers.
Hopefully you will stick around.
I'd also suggest using an MK3 tach in your logo. It would really show the community that you are a die hard MK3 guy.
You can use the stock one, but it does limit how high you can place the intercooler.
If using the 7m overflow, you should re-bend the bracket to place the bottle as high as possible, without hitting the hood.
It comes with the mentioned elbow to replace the first hose after the turbo. If you are missing that, no big deal, it is very easy to make something work.
The HKS 2.5" isn't bad for the price, if you want a stock type replacement exhaust for the NA.
I sell custom NA exhaust systems and even then my price is not any better then the HKS one. The only difference is mine has a SS twin tip muffler.
Toyota clamps are actually quite nice. The problem is that most of them are older then dirt. New Toyota clamps are in order.
Which clamps are you talking about anyway, intercooler hose clamps?
You can take a standard t4 oil drain, drill the holes bigger, and that will work as well.
I have steel block drain flanges available, as well as aluminum coming soon.
If it was a race situation, I would have had him go solid disc. But he wanted to maintain daily driveability, with a trip to the track now and then. In that case, sprung hub was chosen.
Either way, we have his back.
yup
customer did not want to pay for powder coating
It is often thought that *I* am making the part low quality. However, I am trying to meet the demand of the customer. The customer wanted the CHEAPEST solution possible, and that is what I provided.
If it was not powder coated, I...
