its a 90 jza70 rad. im doin the swap right now. the 1j is in and everything is geting hooked up. By friday i can let you know if its going to be used. ill let you know on a reasonable price.

thanks. liquid chroming a fairly new process not too many places have it. It was 70 bucks. it still fits perfect. and now i am going to get the timing cover done as well. Maybe if any of you want it done send it in to me and we can work something out. It can be tinted blue, red, or green.

My 1jz swap is finaly geting started. The 1j was pulled from the clip. I took the coilpack cover off and took it to a shop in town that does liquid chroming. Anything plastic can be chromed. In a couple days the cover was done. What do you think???? It can also be tinted in any color.

my machanic finally got the chance to start work on my swap. we want to start clip up before we start anything. We put a battery, fuel pump, gas and check all the fluids. we turn the key it cranks but doesnt start up. we trouble shoot and see that the gas is going through but the plugs arent...

i need info on this too. what do you mean not the ones that go into the ecu? So i plug the jza70 plugs into the 1jz ecu?? where do the 7m connectors plug into?

idk it mite be a lifter. its been soundin like that since i got the car over a year ago but its my daily driver n im drivin it till the engine goes kaboom. i think me n my friends are gona do the swap more than likely. One of them says he knows bout toyotas so we probably gona do it ourselves...
