Hey Emilio, I haven't been on the forum in a while. Just moved actually. Well not really any progress with the Supra. I've been too busy with other stuff and the 4Runner to do much with the Supra. I drove it around some, no issues or anything, other than the leaking valve stem seals, something I...
You sure that the fogs won't even turn on?
On mine after the projector retrofit the fog lights still work, but when you turn on the high beams the high beams are stuck on until you turn the fog lights off.
I haven't rewired my fogs either because I don't like cutting into my stock wiring...
With the DM kit you are going to be that idiot. There isn't going to be a cutoff with them, just light everywhere. HIDs in a halogen projector just don't work well. Sorry...
Only real solution is a projector retrofit or the Truck-Lite LEDs.
Gotcha. I would paint the trims to match the car then. I was actually talking about the trim piece on the center taillight section being possible to swap maybe, but requiring some extra work. I remember someone here telling me that when I was talking about going with some JDM taillights.
I'm loving these pictures. Nice to see you checking in, don't be a stranger building your new Supra! The bridge picture is stellar and the ones of your MK3 and the FT1 confirmed my suspicions, the MK3 is the sexiest Toyota in existence.
Loving the progress. I think it is possible to swap the trims, but it's not plug and play. It would require some modifying and fabrication. Are you going to paint everything on the car like door jams and engine bay or just the exterior?
Looks really good 3p. Double Din touch screen is the way to go looks wise I think in the MK3. I'm thinking about running a small amp for the speakers in my Supra eventually. They need more power and I'm much happier with the aftermarket speakers in my 4Runner that are amped.
Holy hell. I'm really sorry to see this, but I'm glad you are both OK. That's some crazy damage there, looks like the door is bent as well as the roof even. How is insurance going to handle it with it being an imported car? Did you have collectors insurance or something like that on the car...
Drove mine for the first time in a couple months this weekend. Looks like she needs a new battery. Wish I had more time to actually use the car, I'm just too busy right now.
Looks good ERA, I'm gonna assume that's your dog running in the background, but at first I thought it was a pig haha
