you bought a supra, you'll get used to it! ;) Just keep searching. Craigslist is a great source for parts cars. As well as junk yards. And if it's a hassle, see if the supplier will travel. You may have to compensate them though.

The pipe was a one time opportunity, someone had it as scrap. But these results are completely repeatable with $65. Any N/A owners interested? I'll take detail pictures later today.

Time for a new shop. I'm lucky enough to have access to a shop that will let me use all their equipment for $4 an hour. :)

With new intake: Before: Yep, $20 for the insulation, $10 for the couplers, $10 for the pipe. Not bad, I think. Full 3" aluminum with heat shielding.

Oh yes, water wetter is a winner. I personally had 20-degrees-lower results and had friends tell me the same story.

scotty, awesome post. i've seen most of those cars in person :) down in california. I should have been more specific. I want a classic japanese coupe or (imo) the ultimate supra... i love the fat ass on a classic jdm coupe... but that supra gives me chills. post more coupes!
