as far as DP, i traded a friend that had a vband DP for my turbonetics (ct26 flanged) DP..... currently the DP is getting some custom fabbing done to it.
the stock DS works for the r154 conversion, i went with a one piece from jawsgear.com fit like a glove.
I am reusing a lot of my IC pipes...
Exact same setup i will be running, the eBay single fold I got did not clear the frame rail, nor anything else for that matter (bolt holes weren't right).
Anyway i have my buddy doing all of my exhaust work and he cut the WG tube off and relocated it, so if you have a friend that can fabricate...
looks great!
so you have side skirts?
I am contemplating the DanMacBoost look for the pre89 when i get my car repainted in a few months.
GREAT looking car!!!

no need to do that you can pop out the ignition easy enough, is there enough room to turn the ignition to Run? If so just take apart the column assembly and get a thin screw driver and pop put the ignition cylinder and go to a junkyard or get a cylinder set from a member, or better yet get a...
looking good!! which hydro fan are you using the 2jz (aristo) one or the 1jz fan? I had to modify my shroud and use angle aluminum to close it off and had to trim down the arm nearest the AC compressor for it to fit, and its still tight.... but the 2jz fan is almost the size of the entire 7M...
well took two steps forward and 3 back this weekend
t3 with t4>t3 adapter did not clear hood, so selling the turbo cheap to help fund a gt35
took out the butterfly fot the TRC
ground off trc bulbus mass and had some aluminum welded in the holes
finished a bit...
well i am using the hydro fan, and a custom line that will be less than 1.5ft and reusing the stock ends @ a hydraulic line shop should cost 30$ max...

good point elvis! make a lis tof what you will need.
also if you have a 7mge rear end and dont have the "sport package"
LSD i suggest getting one.(dont want to go 1 wheel peeling)
Also a turbo driveshaft will work with the 2J/r154 combo..
Like Satan said do the easy to replace things...
1.) gather everything you need for the 5spd swap
1a.)Install the easy stuff and make lines for the Clutch master (SS lines easiest and best way to go)
2.) gather everything you want/need for your 2j swap
pre-89 make mounts (like i did, or order some today from BIC)
decide on hydrofan or...
minor update,
Well as many people that do this swap change the fron x-member. I went with one-off custom brackets and decided to change my rear x-member (subframe)
My old 87 sub frame was cracked and i found a mint 89 frame to replace it with. Also decided to replace teh fuel filter again :)...
yo elvis, im running dry on funds... but if u guys want the turbos and pipes meet me half way on shipping and ill get it to you guys for free.
the rear turbo spins kind of sluggish, but i was told it may be due to old oil in it from sitting..... have any other pics of your extended wire loom?

i have the mounts from my aristo (96) and they look similar to those in the post 89 pic. I'll take some pics of them tonight and if you need them for brad's car you can snag em' for 40$.
I think they are viscous mounts with the fluid in the center. Ill let you know.

Well Just wrapped up a fun-filled two days.
Currently have the engine on the stand to assemble the rest of the engine
before it is re-inserted into the engine bay.
The recipient:
The engine (* DO NOT BUY A VECCO Manifold!!!!)
had to drill out all of the stud holes, and grind...
The reason i went (still installing) 2jz:
1.) Always wanted to, this is not my first 2j motor... but this is the first i am going through with.. (Graduated College and have $$ for the first time, first run i was brizoke and finishing up FFI 7MGTE project.... so no 2j, sold it and moved to nyc)...
