I'm looking at a Supra with a 2jz-ge that has been swapped into it. They dot know what transmission is in it currently. Is there any way to identify a W-58 from an R-154? Also, anything I should be wary of when looking at this car? Things I should look for implictly? Problem Areas?

Got all the vac lines hooked up. Started up 1st try. No sparse idle. Came back in the morning.. Now it wont start. It turns over, It has fuel, it has spark. AFM's hooked up. I'm out of idea's.

So. I got half of the vac lines hooked up. The car runs and starts now. Just doesnt idle.

Fuel system is good. Got spark. Cams are lines up right when its at tdc. The Red plugs go to a Vacuum switch? ( I dont know what its called )

So. I tore the engine down. New HG, New head studs, new gaskets everywhere. Now, its fully assembled, and I've got 2 clips that dont go anywhere, I dont remember disconnecting them. They look like FI clips, but all of those are plugged in. One is blue. One is red. And idea's? Also...

Im pretty sure I'm going to get directed to the TSRM, but here goes. Any tips on how to figure out where my vac lines go or the one red plug that I cant figure out?

I finally pulled the head and everything else. I've got water in the oil and the HG was beautiful when I got the head off. So... Next question.. will a Cressida engine bolt right in? ( I'm thinking about buying a shortblock )

I know that I've seen a bunch of Turbo guys put NA cams in the turbo head.

Checked over some of the threads going on ( going back 3 pages ) There arent any other problems quite like the one I've got going on. My belief is that the fuel pump is either going out, fuel filter is plugged, or that I've got a short in/near/around my fuel pump. who knows... it could be...
