dyno'd my car the other week... car is stock... was dyno'd on a dyno jet
i dont know the correction factor but there are 6 different ones i could choose and neither of them changed the outcome more than one point..
stock 87 5-speed turbo 7mgte..
i hate the alarm on the car. is there a way to remove it. or is there a dedicated fuse that goes to it... ive been trying to jump my car and the alarm keeps going off when i hook the jumper cables upto it and the alarm wont shut off.. so i want to get rid of the alarm for a little while till...
ill probally crank it for a minute or two with the wrench then do the EFI fuse trick.. Thanks for the help.. anything else i should do while rebuilding
im gonna start rebuilding my 7mgte sometime next week. new bearing pistons, pump and all that jazz.. also MGH and ARP studs.. and machining... after i get everything all together and selaed up.. is there a way to prime the engine with oil so its well covered when i start it?? anyway to turn the...
alright ive seen the MAFT-pro..i know its a translator. so i could hook up a MAP sensor and it would translate it so the ECU still thinks its a MAF... or i know people have used a GM MAF sensor and placed it after the turbo but before the 3000 pipe.. which maf sensor would i have to get?
our cars use a MAF sensor.. which does pose some problems along the way of upgrading. Is there any way to change it to a speed density to get rid of the MAF and replace it with a MAP system to rely or vehicle speed, engind load, and rpm to determine the amount of fuel??
well if thats for the o2 sensor and the ECU uses it for the AFR's and its not plugged in.. how would the engine know what kinda oxygen content was in the exhaust
sry but what? a freeze plug. i dont wanna correct but its called a core plug. and why would the abs sensor go in the core plug hole? or are there core plugs in the tranny?
