Does J-Blood make anything for the MKIII?

well its got a knock at first we thought it was a valve but it is much much louder from under the car that it is from the head. I tried to put a stethiscope on it but there was too much other noise to pinpoint it very well. It doesnt knock at idle however. I guess Ill just take the whole bottom...

I agree. I would buy one. I like the drift look.

I checked the torque on them and rotated it to see if there was any movement that looked abnormal but thats about it. Im not a motor expert. I know my way around a vehicle and motors pretty well but I am by no means a engine builder so dont hold that against me.

well i say its the wrist pin cause i pulled the oil pan off and inspected the bottom end and it all seems to be up to par. Thanks for all the advice though and I already know not to buy my rotating assembly on ebay. its just too risky.

The motor currently has a rod knock and im concerned about re-using the rods cause they could be stressed. It may be a wrist pin causing it which means I may need a new piston as well. Im picking up another bottom end this weekend and already have a reworked head, so I think im just going to...

Does anyone know of a place I can find some OEM pistons, rods, wrist pins, bearings, etc. at besides the dealership? I might reuse my pistons cause theyre ok but I want some new rods, bearings, and wrist pins for sure.

I think i may have the same problem as well. Except Im running stock boost...around 8psi. But occasionally when im into the throttle it just cuts and bucks really hard and then comes back pulling again. does this sound like a boost leak or a fuel cut?

Is there an differences between a JDM and USDM head? Could I bolt a JDM head right to a USDM block?

Just checking on here to see what rebuild kits people have used on here or have heard good reviews on. We are contemplating doing a full rebuild using OEM parts but so far all ive really found is no-name products.

they were both working when the car was parked, both bulbs seem to be alright, but it is the only thing we havent checked. Do the foglights and headlights share a common ground anywhere.

well 90% of the time im on here is on a handheld device which makes searching a bitch. but yes the main reason i ask is because i have seen countless carbon hoods that just wasnt worth the money, fitment also being the main issues.

just use some bondo, and make sure you dont lay it on thick no more than 1/16 of an inch at a time

its not the retractor control and its not the relay under the hood I have replaced both

im in for body moulding, headlight covers, door sills, and a radio and shifter bezel piece....hehe.

Well the hood latch let go of my hood at 70mph today and smashed my windshield and distorted the hood pretty bad so i put my spare hood on and its messed up to. Where can i find a Cabron hood for a 88?

seems like i tried that but i will try it again.
