ok, if your looking at the engine from the front of the car, theres about 5 sensors that are in the general area of where the radiator pipe goes into the engine. ... I broke one of them. Where is there a diagram that can tell me which one it is so i can go get it from a shop? or... maybe just a...
Very interesting. I didnt think thats how it worked. ... that and its BITTER COLD here right now... my fingers were freezing off... ok, ill try again tomarrow.
ok, this linkage is killing me. I must be missing something...
I want to remove the entire unit for cleaning. Cant get it out. I unbolted the 4 bolts and then it seems to be stuck on the arms inside... whats the trick to this?
Im sure its real easy, im just missing it.
(FRONT MOTOR)
Does it need negitive pressure in the tube to pull the fumes out?
Why does it come out of the intake manifold too?
Tell me about this catch can, what is its name so i can find one.
I rebuilt my engine and I still have no idea what this is. How sad. (BTW: this pic is not from my car. thanks, bigaaron!)
I want to unclutter the engine bay a bit. Ive noticed that some people have pipes running from these cam cover nozzles to a cannister of some kind.... I've been told...
I like the idea of some of these after market Intake Manifolds that take the air in from the side... but, my biggest fear is that this would affect the air/fuel ratio of each individual cylinder.
There has to be a reason that Toyota put the "IN PIPE" in the center of the manifold... It would...
Ok, so I guess you can say; Im convinced. It takes awhile for a stubborn person like me, but ive finally converted. No cheap crap.
but man, im still having trouble with what i really want in my turbo... i think im going to go for only 400 HP max. I don't want to be running my block on 20PSI...
I googled this problem, there are several instances of this happening. One to many in my book... Even if those spot welds were just plyer marks, it definatly shouldn't pull apart like that... with plyers... and I dont see any saw marks
(thinking out loud)
on the other hand, I can do some...
Sorry, didn’t mean to hurt your feelings man, just trying to absorb all the information from as many great sources as I can. Can you blame me? Everyone is inferior to everyone in some way shape or form. In this area I am to you, but I guarantee, no matter how old someone is there are...
dang dude, shots at the new guy on his own thread - now theres a low blow. I was being dramatic. Way to welcome the new guy. Guess I wont stick around much.
Holy crap. I didnt know I would have to redo my oil return... you say this isnt hard... but it sounds like I have to tap a hole in my oil pan... woah!:aigo: Well, if i built that 7m... i can pretty much do what the hell i want with it...

WHY? No one has given me a sound answer yet.
Still no one can recommend a turbo with a link...
Has anyone even done the T4 upgrade?... Someone please respond with some experience.
