Have to commend you on sticking with it Faye I know what it is like to have the thing you put so much work into get messed up bad, can't wait to see how the car turns out this time with all the hardwork you're putting in again.
If you're looking at aftermarket rads I suggest a koyo, I have one...
I have a BIC thunder on my car without a resonator and it's loud, I have been looking at resonators as well. I've found that Vibrant has a 3.5 inch one for just over 100 dollars which isn't bad so I going to pic one up so maybe check them out and see what you think.
One idea I have seen that looks to work well is a airbag "cup" kit. From what I have seen it's an airbag system which installs over your coilovers or shock/spring setup which gives you airbag height adjustability with whichever setup you have. Here's a couple pics from a guy that installed it...

Took the orange lense for the turn signals out of the extra set of pre 89 taillight housings I have and painted them to see if I liked it. I think it turned out good:
The covers don't look that bad would keep them for now, in my opinion never really like leather a lot always stick to it in the hot weather. If you were to recover them would vote for suede as well.
