Well i dont know what the fuck this guy was thinking.. he told me he ran the "rebuilt engine" for 5-10 minutes with NO oil pressure! wtf.. I put in new rod bearings to test and every one was exactly .002.. i dont know if thats coincidence of i fudged something up... What would cause this to...
Just bought a "rebuilt" engine(rebuilt my ass:icon_mad:), so i decided to look at some bearings. This is rod bearing #1 and #6 i was wondering what you guys think about these? Also i was suprised to see how well the crank looks. I think anyway..
well i still dont know what the point was, maybe im just dumb. But i was also only checking things that i removed or changed and the bov failing at this exact point was quite a coincedence(spelling?).

Checked vaccume hoses.. looked good..( not really sure the proper procedure for checking for leaks
electrical connections.. connected..?

i just installed a 57 trim ct26, now my car jumps between 350-500 rmps until it stalls. ran flawlessly before the new turbo. any idea whats up? I have checked for vaccum leaks and boost leaks. dont know what else to check. I have searched with no luck :(

Jdub thank for the superb info, once again! couldn't get the damn thing out though >:o. Ill be pulling the engine once again on my upcoming 45 day license suspension to replace the oil squirters change the clutch and shim the oil pump! then that gauge will be in for life!
