Why the fuck would you put an exhaust and a intake on a cavalier? Don't they have like 100 horsepower? I guess it's better than a wing and body kit though... Welcome.
Not to sound like a Debbie Downer or anything but it doesn't matter how much you trust him going that fast, there are other people on the road and if any of them make a mistake while he is going that fast he will probably end up killing both of you and the other driver as well.
It is a koyorad radiator and the bottom metal part for the coolant hose is stopping me from pulling it up, I tried to other end of the line and it broke my extension. I am going to get another extension tomorrow and see if that works. That liquid in the picture is some PB Blaster so hopefully...
Seriously what the fuck, neither of the bolts for this will come off. I broke my damn extension for my ratchet trying to get this piece of shit off. I need to get something on my radiator welded tomorrow and this is the only thing holding the fucking hydrofan in. :: angry :: What am I doing wrong?
Probably like $5000 for a 2jzgte swap, unless you meant 2jzge, in which case it would be cheaper, either way it would be hard to pay off with a summer job.
1J swaps will add up quick, especially with a single on it. I would say you could get it all done for maybe 5k if you get deals on everything. I agree that you should get a SAFC and stick with the stock ecu for now with your low budget.
Good news everybody! Putting JB Weld on the cracked connector fixed the issue entirely. I will be getting some heat shrink for all of the coils so this never happens again on Monday. My car seems to like the 0.025 gap too so I will probably keep it there.
They were at 0.028 but I put them down a bit. I will regap them back. Does anyone else think it is weird though that when I replugged in the ignitor the code 14 went away? I'm still waiting for the JB weld to dry completely and see if that fixes the problem.
I was looking at heat shrink before I started this thread actually, but it's hard to find 1" locally. I found a store that has it though and will pick some up on Monday.
Still using the twins. I will try to take a video tomorrow so I can show you guys exactly what is happening. It still revs up but it misfires a shit load @ full throttle. I found a crack on one of the coil plugs and put jb weld on it plus regapped plugs to 0.025
