I recently picked up a ct-26 to send off for rebuilding and upgrading at Driftmotion. Im going to have them send it back with their adaptor kit and some other parts necessary to push a reliable 350+/- to the wheels in my 89 Cressida. It's not going to be doing anything that would require much...
I ask because the 370 is on a promotional tour and I may have something to do with those locations for another forum I am affiliated with.
If you guys want to check it out before its official release, this would be a good (read: probably only) time to do it. it will be stopping at a few other...
my work computer doesnt load those pages for some reason. so its def going to be a junkyard find then. guess ill just wait it out or start putting together the r154 instead.
i also wanted to say thanks to you nick, youre a wealth of info. next time i need a part, hopefully i wont have to ask...
that diagram is for the shifter assembly, the part i need would be the actual metal rod that is attached to the transmission. i think that the diagram is everything just north of that part.
yeah i figured, and trust me i am an ebay hound for oem spares. more than likely i will have to wait for...
hmmm. no part listed for the selector lever. i may call the local dealerships and see if its a part i can order, but ill wait to hear back from push first.
thanks nick.
you wouldnt happen to have a link to that would you? im a noob here but i searched the forums and the web, came back with some parts dealers and toyota sites but didnt see the searchable parts guide. thanks!

1jz never came in the x7 chassis so you might as well just go 2j if you are worried about displacement. also, in certain cases you can get a 2jz motorset for a little cheaper than a 1jz depending on what it came from and whether or not you mind auto transmission.
do you know which oil pan...
i removed my turbos to test fit a y-pipe and i noticed that there were no gaskets between the turbos and the manifolds (i left them bolted to the head). am i missing them or are there none there from the factory? if i need to buy them, any chance i can do that without having to pick up the whole...
As the title says, I'm attempting a 1JZ swap into my car. Both the Cressida and the motorset kind of fell into my lap so I figured why the hell not.
The motor is from an x81 chaser (which should hopefully make things a little easier as far as wiring goes) and came with the a340. I am debating...
