    Rebuilding r154 questions

Yeah that's the plan guys :) I forgot about dm cause marlin shift fork was out of stock yesterday. I'm not totally sold on the shift though. My tranny has 110,000 on it if it is all stock and looking at them I see no possible failure unless your trying to jamb gears or not using your clutch to...

Started tearing into it today and found a few things that raise alarm to me.. Between both front and back cases there was no gasket, just rtv silicon. Toyota factory...idk but I'm guessing not! Also front bearing retainer was the same way. Also front input shaft has quite a bit of...

Got another question for you gurus!

I haven't personally did it but I know that you can heat up lights in a oven at idk what temp and it melts the adhesive to allow separation. Google it and see what people say that have done it. It must be possible with the mk taillights as the po obviously did the same thing. Also someone...

I took the paper work to DMV to file for a lost title and they said it had lein on it ( i assume for work or...

    The Small Questions Thread

Wish I could help more but I'm not having much luck finding it either. I've looked threw my tsrm and term and I can't find anything that's a absolute answer, and it's not on my car so I'm out on this one.

    targa top seals

Little tip I got years ago and tried with success. Mine were leaking as well and I rubbed vaseline all over them, and supposedly it softens and for lack of a better word pluffies them up :) I don't don't how long it'll last. I painted mine about 6 months after I did that, but in that time they...

Thinking about 2uz swap in a 89 mkiii

Understand, different strokes for different folks :) I pondered a pure breed swap like yourself but I wanted a 3ur-fe, but ls was just the best choice for me.
