    Hi guys.Ok my friend had what he said was a butterfly valve on his subaru wrx. Whenever he opened the valve it was open headers and then closed was quiet as stock. He also told me when the valve was set on open he gained horspower.Is there any truth behind this and what is it called?

    I'm new to this forum and am looking to get a supra 89 with a 1j swap. I drove a 95 240sx before but want a toyota so thats where I am now.I live in Florida and the toyota scene here is pretty good.Hope to meet a lot of good people on here
