    E01 and 2 are the grounds for the ecu which are mounted on the intake manifold. Nghty89 you stated you have 12V at the EFI fuse, so I would not be looking there if I were you.

    It doesn't matter which way you apply 12VDC, because one side of the fuse is input and the other side is output.
