I went with the Spec Stage 3 as well, however mine is for a W58 (2JZ-GE flywheel) set-up. Maybe that is why mine only cost $358 shipped. I chose Spec because I've heard nothing but good things about them. And they have decent prices.

We've ruled out motor mounts, they are in good condition. I will post up more info in the next couple of days when I get time to go look at it. I will check for codes.

Ok, a compression test was done to the engine yesterday and all cylinders are good at 120 - 130 PSI and they did not leak down. So even if there is a bent valve, it isn't bent enough to lose compression. Maybe the mechanic was lying. Cam Position Sensor was also changed for a new one. Any...

Don't waste your money just to end up with a slow car. If you are willing to spend that much on an NA motor, then you might as well just spend that money on a turbo motor and end up with a badass motor. It just doesn't make sense to build up a GE.
