Great thread. Im surprised at Tanya's reaction though, I lurk around way to much on cs.com and out there she praises anything MA61 related so I thought she wouldn't mind the drivetrain either. Your SSQV will flutter from 0psi to around 2psi, anything more it pretty much blows it all off. I learnt this from my 7m setup but perhaps your is differant. Remember to get vacuum from a POST-throttle flapper source. Like off the intake mani, not off the throttle body. (that was my problem...

Problem was solved by re-gapping spark plugs to .26 and cleaning out the spark plug holes! Car boosts great now :D Something to note would be after a hard beat down my car idle rough. Car shakes alot like if you tried to text someone while sitting in the car at idle it would be hard due to the...

I grounded out my coil pack, it helped for sure but didn't fix the problem. I ordered new spark plug wires, I will also drill out my J-Tube. Hmm this sucks :(

By replacing the coils do you mean just replacing the whole coild pack? Yeah that makes sense im sure it's an ignition issue I will try my best to figure it out asap and post back here. Plugs are stock replacement issue.

After I swapped in my 7mgte it ran fine, then it developed this problem. When I am boosting and hit around 8psi the car looses all power and starts to sound like a machine gun or something lol, no CEL or anything... What could this be? I am super confused :( (used to do it at 11, then 10,9...

Fix your knock sensor and closely inspect all of your IC piping (tighten the clamps too), my car had the same problem. Doing those two things fixed it and made it %100

turbo boosting past stock boost levels could be because on the new turbo you put in the wastegate might be shimmed or differant?
