I'm swapping my engine for one froma 91 car and mine is 89 the engine I have came with it's complete wiring harness so I wonder if I can use it's harness with my ECU cause I noticed that many plugs are diffrent on this engine than my old engine..So can I use my old ECU with this 91 wiring harness?
OK I've been checking in the car for a while when I posted this I think I have code 21 already so this explains my back gas mileage and also I found out that one of the knock sensors is missing the one on the 4,5,6 part of the block and it's plug is there laying that's gonna cause BIG problems...
I am bypassing the turbo but I'm 100% sure that my FPR is connected to a wrong place does it have ANYTHING to do with gas mileage? if not then what does it do?
And someone told me that removing the O2 sensor will give me a clue I just don't think so..Is that a method??
Hey I got horrible gas mileage! I think that my fuel pressure regulator small vaccum pipe is connected to a wrong place where do that connect? I couldn't follow it on the TSRM vaccum pipes diagram.

I think they match up although I noticed that the color of the coilpack plug is diffrent mine is gray and this engine is green does that really matter or not?

Well about my turbo..I was very careful and I clean the air-filter like everyweek and if too messy replace it and allways clean the turbo intake from dust but I guess I had a problem with the actutator which blew the turbo cause the boost didn't stop raising at the time it broke.

OK I Know i'm asking alot and thank you guys for the support but I ran a compression test today and the compression seemed to be a bit high it was 10.5 lb\in2 is that anywhere near normal? I hear GTEs got 8.4 or something near that?
