I got a 1jz vvti and im finishing it up, by my electrical skills are average, and i need it done fast. the job is 99% done and anyone who has done it before should be able to... its a jzx100 1jz vvti into a mk3. The ECU is all wired, but still not getting power in certain places.
ILL PAY...
Yeah, Id agree with whats been said, but normally if there's a leak you should be able to hear it.. listen closely, i normally would find the line leaks by feeling around and youll hear the increased suction if your finger pases by it.
But would you really want someone to have that capability with your phone if you ever lost it? not to mention theres hacks for every car security electronic on the market.. I dont know Im sure in most cases youd be fine, but theres always that chance someone will figure out a glitch, or way to...
Yeah the vipers are really nice, and yea the GPS ive been lookin into those ever since we put one in my friends k20 prelude. His is a cheapy GPS tracker, but we can track from his PC down to a 10 foot radius and his trackers company is making an android app. Its pretty F'in cool.
Who said anything about illegal? lolz ;) Yeah, I agree at this point, but in most cases ensuring a pass first time, bringing the extra cash just in case makes up for the multiple tests, and repairs, and assosciated time and bullshit.. but then again here in the 209 "friendly" smog shops are a...
Check your vacuum lines first.. maybe the oxygen senor or AFM might be dirty/burning out.. Is it giving you a check engine light/error code?
My girlfriends focus had issues with running lean ALOT, and every time it set off her check engine, and turned out to be an aging vacuum line.. one by one...
I have killswitches and shaved doors :D
Alarms can be beat man.. Killswitches are cheape and alot more likely to have your car there in the morning. I have one to my fuel pump I use all the time and one hidden DEEP thats for the ecu, but i only use that when im leaving the supra for a while...
Dude, for the cash your going to spend, just go to a family owned place in the more "poverty striken" areas with an extra benjamin XD where are you located? If your in Nor Cal and want to discuss it privately, I know people who can "help" you pass smog :D
Well, I have the chaser motor, so my ecu is compatible with the stock fuel pump config.. Im pretty sure once my fuses are replaced and i check the fuse box to see its in there all right, unless my Fuel Pump relay is burnt then im 99% sure its gonna fire, Ive done just about everthing else by...
I wasnt able to work on it today but ill be in there tomorow, and im starting to realize it might just be my fuses/EFI relay, i opened the fuse box when i stopped by today and realized that there were a number of blown fuses (long story, my little brother is an IDIOT). The primary problem has...
ah i see where we differ, Im geting my B+ from the stock body ecu plugs, plug B1 pin 9 to be exact, or is that incorrect? because thats what the vvti wiring guide says
Look at the wiring instructions on the link in my original post, those are the ones i followed, I believe it only listed connections to pins 1&2. Which other wire do i eed to connect where??
well, I did find out how to do the NSS by myself, but one thing no one metions anywhwere i seen, is that the vvti has a A341e not the A340, so the wiring is different and (a whore to figure out), but i figured it out eventueally, but i still would just rather keep the start switch wired from my...
Hello forum,
