Kind of sounds like my same situation. I bought my elbow and DP probably 4 years ago. Was the DDP even out then? Eventually I think I'm probably going to shift over to the DDP.
Thanks Grim...so basiclly the smoother air flow accounts for the gain in hp and torque. Those seem like pretty substantial gains though by just seperating the airflow. However, I can see how it makes sense now looking at the pictures. Just never really realized what DDP was before. Wish I...
Ok really dumb question, what does the first D in DDP stand for, looking through the posts i'm guessing divorced, but have no clue. I have a vague idea but how is a DDP setup different vs the SS turbo elbow and 3 in. dp and exhaust that I have.
Again I feel retarded for asking this...
This weekend my friend and I were out an night and he closed the door on the seatbelt (the clasp part which buckles in) and broke the top of it off. It is still functional but the clasp just hangs at the bottom of the belt rather than being taught to it with the top of the plastic piece...
Did the light around the drivers side keyhole start in 89? My brother and I each have an 89T and his has the keyhole light and mine doesn't. I always assumed mine was broken but probably it just never had the option added
It looked new but from my rear view mirror I didn't notice any hood scoops, but it was kinda dark out. He definitely had an edge on me though. Right now I don't have a boost controller so I am bascially running whatever boost over stock with the mods I have. I probably think around 8psi...
This is kinda a poor excuse for a race but thought I'd post anyway. I am on my way home from cruising around town when I pass a GTO. He looks over at me and gives the "I think I'm the shit look". So I ignore him and pull up to the left hand turn lane of a major two lane intersection. He...
I changed my oil a couple weeks ago and recently checked it and it seemed a little low. I put in around 3/4 of a quart and it seemed fine. However now it is at the top of the "F" past the hatch mark zone. I was wondering if overfilling it a little is going to cause any harm. If so I'll just...
I contacted ARP when installing my MHG and ARP studs. The ARP torque specs for the studs are 80 lb/ft. That is what I torqued mine to. However going above that a little won't hurt.
My mechanic told me it is not necessary to retorque after using the studs with a MHG. He is very reputable...
Just wondering, how does the maftpro rank against something like the Greddy E Mange Ultimate. Haven't really heard of many people using this and was just wondering.
GotToyota, so your saying it doesnt matter what head unit you have, as far as the antenna going up when you play a cd just has to do with how its wired. I don't know much about wiring, but if this is true, then the people as best buy don't know anything. I'm glad I know for future reference.
I think that it is a must have feature for head units. However, that is something that is built in to the unit and can't be changed. Not actually sure what the the name of it is. Basiclly the unit can recognize the difference between you playing a cd and the radio so it puts the antenna down...
I recently bought a pioneer cause my old Kenwood unit which I loved was stolen out of my supra. To tell you the truth the Pioneer doesnt even compare to the Kenwood unit. A lot of my cds that didnt skip with the Kenwood now skip with the Pioneer. I also hate the fact that the unit does not...
