just wanted to say I did this today with a O'reilly bearing that crossed from the part number the OP posted. I had to open the holes up where it mounts to the body a little bit. but it worked just fine, loving not having the vibration at speed anymore.

I'm in the 1UZ camp. I have 2nd gen 4ruuner I swapped to a 5vz in and while it is a good reliable engine its not a power house. Also most of the aftermarket for it is geared to the low end for the off-road guys.

Welcome to sm. sounds like you have good start on your supra. i am running the gte ecu on my ge-t and it runs just fine. a tune wouldnt be bad idea if your not leaving it stock
