Update time
code 51 is the only code that its showing
the CSI is getting a pulse, fuel and the ohms is 3
the cold start injector switch is not getting and power or a pulse, should it be tho?
I did a NA-T swap in my 87 and finally got it to run today, but it needed carburetor cleaner sprayed into the intake tell it could run on its own.
the timing is correct, the fuses are good, theres good fuel pressure, everything is connected correctly. and as far as i know there are no codes...
sorry to up these thread, but im having the same problem
exact mine is leaking inbetween the block and the intake. ive already replaced the hose and clamps and ive tried to replace the gasket and i used red gasket sealnt with it to. but it will leaks, what else show i do?
im doing a engine swap and im putting in a 7mgte, but im looking for aftermarket headers, and i found these.
my question is, wat about the turn down on the back of the turbo, do i need to block it off, or connect it with the rest of the exhaust?
even if it is or isnt....the motor is getting pulled tomorrow or wednesday, then when the GTE gets here its going in and once we get that all done ill look at the 7mge sometime and see exactly wats wrongs.
yes i know now, but at the time when i was talking to the owner over the phone he told me v6. but now that i have the car in my drive way its a inline 6 getting replace with a inline single turbo 7mgte.
and the only reason were going with a 7mgte is cuz 1 its cheaper and 2 less modifying.
i think its rod knock(but the engine only have 155k miles). when the car is running if u put ur head under the car or low to the ground u can really hear something hitting the oil pan or something in that area.
