Ok I know that my supra has air in the pipes and needs to be burped however I have noticed that when I initially begin driving the car I get no heat and no coolant noise in the dash while at the same time my engine temp is going up down up down until eventually I start hearing the waterfall...

I have a 87 n/a and have a little money coming my way soon and wondering how much it would typically cost for a 7mgte and where the best place to find one would be, just the 7mgte btw i dont need the r154 im gunna stick with the w58

What is that? lol and my guess so far is that it is the actual valve that allows the coolant to flow..the vaccum arm moves up and down so would it be possible that the valve is just plain stuck? or is it something else like this door blend issue>
did you ever solve the problem? is it the vsv? I just started having the EXACT same problem and lets just say my ride to school yesterday was not fun in at -11 degrees Fahrenheit!!!!
