How common is this issue??
it isn't leaking oil at all. It is leaking water. On the passenger side the gasket has 2 water passages to the cylinder block directly behind the water pump. This is where I believe it is leaking from.- Misty Johnson

How common is this issue??
I was wondering if it was quite common for the timing case gasket to leak? I believe I have an issue with mine and was wondering if this was a common issue? Also any information you can give about changing that particular gasket? Thanks So Much *yeah Imma Noob*:naughty:- Misty Johnson

1st time owner.......just purchased,
I just purchased a 1990 turbo. So far I am in LOVE with it. Only got to drive it during a test drive and then to drive it home 50 miles away and again to get it inspected and licensed. It has a small water leak coming from where a hose connects to the timing chain cover (small crack in plastic)...- Misty Johnson
