If its like the SC400, then i think 10mm wrench is all you need, but it will really help to have a 10mm socket with a extension.

I found a couple beer bottle caps in my spare tire well, along with a wadded up receipt from when the PO had to get a new front bumper and hood from pick-n-pull after the car hit a pole. Kinda makes me wonder why they hit that pole....

The 1UZ's respond VERY well to supercharging, If I recall correctly there was an article about someone with a 1000+ horsepower 1UZ (Not in a lexus though). The stock internals are plenty strong, and there's a decent line of aftermarket parts for it.
