I jsut spoke with clearwater cylinder head and machine shop.Which is who my dealership deals with.And they told me $45 for the head and 60$ for the block and they dont have to disassemble anything there is a machine that doesnt require that you disassemble anything for the block
I was reading that you need to deck the block and heads to do a metal head gasket.I was wondering why is this i have done head gaskets before and i only got the head checked and put it back together.I also work in a shop and every head gasket we do we just get the head checked and copper spray...

Speaking about the motor mounts i was just reading a post about it and i think all i have to do is use the old mounts off my us spec motor and get spme tabs and maybe a machine shop to angle them.
I have a us 87 mk3 supra turbo factory i want to put a 89 JDM 7m-GTE motor and 88 JDM 7m-GTE ecu is that possible?Ohh and this is my firstpost to this site the guys from celicasupra.com directed me here.Any replies welcome i really want to do this.
