ecu master digital tuner 3 on 7MGTE

Ok so it seems lie the option for the 4bar/400kPa still works. I filled in some black areas, and it runs/drive great on the MAP setup. I am still fighting fuel cut though, how can i get around this?

ecu master digital tuner 3 on 7MGTE

Hey Guys, so the DET3 is running, trying to work out the MAF-MAP. For those who have the 2.5 bar built in map sensor, what are you choosing for the Analog 2 Scales Configuration? Seems like the 4bar/400kPa is available for the DET3 but no 2.5bar...? Right now i feel like the stock ecu is...

    Stumbling at 5psi

Might be worth lowering the tank and look at the fuel sending unit. The float controls the fuel gauge. Also would be a good place to start and check going foward to the engine, will also be a good opportunity to change the fuel filter, cheap and easy being right there. Look at the small section...

Heater Control Valve & AC Performance

I would to, however the flap door for the temp is designed to direct air flow based on command on the HVAC controls. correct? so this shouldn't be a factor, atleast to my knowledge.

I was thinking about doing that. I was hoping to find the answer before I spilled any coolant [emoji37] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Heater Control Valve & AC Performance

I deleted the heater control valve to help have more room for my custom down pipe, was a winter project. Just recently i noted in 80 degree days the AC performance is pretty low. After driving on the highway i get vent temps of about 50 degrees. Does anyone know if there is hot coolant...

    Tnice17's 1987 MK3 Street Build - Weekend Warrior Project

Have some good updates for everyone. So as I was checking for an oil leak from the oil cooler, I managed to accidentally push the radiator into the fan. Thankfully the fan was ok but the radiator was toast. Upgraded to a 3 core. Ebay special actually was better then expected! Minor figment at...

    Tnice17's 1987 MK3 Street Build - Weekend Warrior Project

Last night was interesting and fun. base spring pressure is 6psi with the EWG. The SCG-1 i have is a boost, a/f and boost controller all in one. I was able to use about 28-30% duty cycle and i can get up to 12psi in 3rd/4th/5th gear using the Lexus AFM and a 10.5 a/f :) Anything higher then...

Glass media taking chunks out of coolant passages

I dont think they did anything wrong. The aluminium is obviously soft/corroded in those areas. Cast iron block and aluminium head, dissimilar metals, will do things like that. if your doing a high HP build, id get a new head. If its a stock rebuild - i would lay the HG on the head and see if...

    Tnice17's 1987 MK3 Street Build - Weekend Warrior Project

Started her up for the first time yesterday! I have a 6psi waste gate spring in right now. Hoping to run that off the stock afm/440s and still fall below fuel cut, get an idea of how the new set up will be. That way i can also get some miles on her to see if any small issues arise before i...

    vacuum hose from Intake manifold

You can tap into it before the 1 way valve. It is a normal hose. The valve is so you dont pressurize the booster.

First 7mgte Driftmotion Oil Cooler w/ Tstat and Filter Relocation

I used an allen bolt with thread sealant. I chose to mount the oil filter at a 45 degree angle, Oil change will be a little messy. I wanted my lines to look smooth and not like a rats nest so that just how it ended up. Last i checked with Aaron at DM, him and I were talking about using 180...

    Tnice17's 1987 MK3 Street Build - Weekend Warrior Project

Hey Guys! I have been leaving everyone hanging, sorry! Project is still on the way but was interrupted by my Impreza. Was on the way home from work and the engine cut out while driving, fault never cleared for my EBCS and prevents a crank/no start. Towed it home. Found that some excessive...
