The harness will work with the 87 ECU. Just make sure its a GTE (the one you need)....:)

This is true although there were a few 89's that had yellow harnesses.....

Just make sure you do it right....:) Trouble shooting jumper harnesses can be quite fun....:)

You would have to match the wires from both EWD's. A lot of work and not all may match up. Its easier just to use the right harness....

Yea like everyone has said its not compatible unless you want to replace the dash harness as well (PITA). I will swap harnesses with you if you want as I have the same problem....I have the yellow plug harness but need the gray.....LOL. Just PM me if I can help.

Dont know the rules about Ebay but look for item 250498370777. They look good on that car.....more unifom.

Grim thanks for the info. This is a typical example of some of the mis-comunication on the board....:) I knew there were some differences from everthing I read and the EPC's were very helpful in showing them. You guys are a great help. Thanks!!

Hey everyone!! I havs a 89NA that I am transplanting the engine from an 88T into. I know the intercooler is different on the 89 but what are the differences in the piping between the 2 years? The 88 has all the piping so I was wondering what pieces were different. Thanks!!
