What camera do you have? 3.1MP isn't bad at all! My old Canon 2MP one has a macro setting. Like IJ said, there should be a button on the camera that has a flower on it - that's your "up close" button.

Today: Made some progress! I found the elusive moly assembly lube and it didn't cost me half an arm! I did a test fit of oil clearances for the main bearings and was happy to find they're all within std tolerance (a bit less than .050mm) across all 7. I'll button up the main bearings...

In regards to whether you should torque the ARP headbolts to factory spec, if you mean 58ft/lbs - NO WAY!!! Go to at least 70. If that's not what you meant, my apologies.
