from my experience, the contact points in the lock for the alarm are probably shot, as is the lock itself. you will have to replace the whole mechanisim, which can be done rather inexpensively if you dont mind taking the door panel off and doing it yourself.

the 8 has a turbo back exhaust, no cats, drop in filter and dyno flash tune. all work done by AMS in chicago. plut down a hair over 310hp/318tq to the wheels at their dyno.
wow, 55k for a MKIV turbo...i wonder if there are any "new" ones out there? i remember seeing a "new" (8 miles) 1999 3kgt VR4 a couple years ago that a dealership kept in their showroom, never been sold, with a price of about 75k.
thanks for all the kind words everyone...the EVO is fast as hell, but i can honestly say that i have more fun in the supra. rainy days are drift fest 2000, and the fact that i could have ten supras like mine for the price of one evo makes me want to never have one again. :)
