thats really retarted i would think that they would be able to tell with the block #

i wouldnt do the swap if i were u i think that would be a waste of a good engine in my opion u should stick with the 7M it will have better tourque over the JZ and parts are a lot esier to find unless u have a shop that can order u parts cosedering the JZ is a JDM motor u will have a harder time...

So i can figure out if the previous owner put a newer engine in my car i went to my local toyota dealer and they said that Toyota dosent keep records on engine block #'s any help would be great Thanx

how many miles does the supra have on it VS. the camry and was the supra well taken care of if it was and u keep up the mantinace then u might beale to keep the supra and sell the camry

does any one know how i could check of the engine thats in the car is the stock one or if the guy i bought it from i already tried to take the engine block # to the local dealer with my VIN too but they said that toyota never really kept track of the engine block numbers or somthing like that

ya the only problem is there trying to change that and make it an every other year thing that would suck consedering that i want to do a swap for a JDM 7M or 1JZ
