In this build thread i'm going to have updates via videos because I think its easier to work with then having to always stop and take pictures and just have it record. I did start this in the middle of my project.

I am building a 2jz with a is300 block and sc300 head. I called Lexus and they said the bottom end gaskets wasn't the same part numbers. What could be the differences? If i buy a full sc300 gasket set it should work right? reason for sc300 head is im going now vvti.
Just wondering what brakes you guys are running. Ive got some slotted rotors and not sure what pads (got them off of friends old setup). This setup stops like hell but after 2-3 laps of a pretty technical course it fades real bad.
So my supra steering wheel doesn't center back after making a left turn; it stays at about 10-11 o'clock. Then if i make a hard right turn it will center back. This is causing the steering to be very unresponsive on the track and curvy roads. If someone could help me pinpoint this problem that...
I wouldnt want to get an rx7. I love the mk3s thats why i want to make it one of the top dogs. Im not really concerned with power i prefer handling. It handles good already i just want it to be better.
So i was just wondering if there has been any other engine swaps then the usual 1/2jz or v8. I really like the idea of lightening up my supra and jz engines are pretty heavy and im not really a fan of v8s. Has anyone heard of or thought of an engine swap that thats light and make could make...
Its funny no one ever tries to egg me on in my supra. people try to race me when im in my wrx and miata but never the supra. My friends get mustangs, civics, g's. They see the supra and are like hell no haha.
